Tier 2 visa extension HELP PLEASE ~~~

I am about to extend my tier 2 visa in couple weeks time. I switched into tier 2 from PSW as graduated engineer. My salary over that time was 21k. After 2 years working, my salary now is 24k. However, it still doesn't meet the minimum requirement, which it state over 30k. That wage is for senior level. Anyone here has idea that whether this will be a problem for me? As the old rule, as long as my salary is same or higher than the one on my initial certificate issued, that was fine.

As you are applying as Tier 2 (general) i think you are ok. I don't know where did you get this minimum req. of £30k from.

if you have a look into the current application form for tier 2 (v. 04/2011) page 37 (L5. Appropriate salary) you will find that as long as your salary is £20,000 and above you can claim 20 points (the max you can have).
