Clarification regarding Tier 1 Gen Extn Form Degree in Engli

Post by oraja_kumar » Fri May 27, 2011 11:28 am

Clarification regarding t1-general-form.PDF Tier 1 General main applicant Extension Form

This Question is to ANYONE who has RECENTLY got Tier 1 GEn Extension

The PDF form has following section:-
Select how the applicant would like to claim points for English language:

Degree taught in English - IF I TiCK this i.e. say YES then
Go to question L4

L4. Applicants can claim 10 points for English language where:
- They hold a degree that was taught in English that is deemed by UK NARIC to be equivalent • to at least a United Kingdom Bachelors degree; and
- Their qualification can be found on the points based calculator.

Clarification needed about first point : degree that was taught in English that is deemed by UK NARIC : FOR This CONFIRMATION do I need to Contact UKNARIC and get their Letter - as that might take some time to get back to me? Originally when I got HSMP letter/extension then I have sent them the proof of Degree taught in English which was from Delhi University however not from UKNARIC - will the same work this time or do I need to get one from UKNARIC this time?

B Com (Hons ) Qualification studied with University of Delhi does appear in points based calculator

Thanks
