Tier 1 extension queries

Post by gm1 » Fri May 27, 2011 9:10 pm

Hello,

I am on Tier 1 and I have a limited company as a sole director.

for Tier 1 extension - i have following queries:

I was paying myself quarterly for a period of 6 months - meaning
Salary for April-May-June paid in July
Salary for July-Aug-Sept paid in Oct
Salary for Oct month paid in Nov

PAYE/NI paid quarterly for Apr-June and Jul-Sept and monthly for October separately.

Is it fine if I am claiming earnings point for April to Oct with following docs and above salary payments:
a. P60 showing minimum salary wages for full year
b. accountant letter with gross sal + net dividends
c. Business bank statements
d. personal bank statements.
e. agency / vendor invoices (any other document needed please mention in your response)

my actual question is:
is it mandatory to make salary payments from my company to myself MONTHLY? Quarterly payments are fine or not.

please advise.

Cheers.
GM

It does not matter which month's salary you are taking. You will have only 4 payslips and not 12.

Out of interest why you are taking quarterly salaries? you are paying more NI by taking one big payment istead of three small.

I hope that is helpful.
