I called +44-114-207-4074. Yesteday evening there was an auto-answer that they work 9-17 Monday-Friday.
Today I called, there was a request to press "2" on my phone to ask about cases, then I waited about 5 minutes and the operator answered. He asked me about my date of birth and my name, and then told me my reference number and current status.

Hi ,

I have got confusion in answering the below question.
"Are you aware of the impediments to you taking work in the chosen field - PART TWO , Question 10 "

Pls let me know if we answer yes or No.

I would personally answer it NO . Is this the way everyone is following.

Processing times

Post by djmozy » Sat Jul 22, 2006 10:37 am

Hi there

It seems it takes around 9-10 working days from package arriving at home office till the credit card is charged.
My letter arrived on the 17th of July
My credit card got charged yesterday, 28th of July

Hope this helps anyone who is anxious about processing times for payments.

Did a small mistake.

Post by applicant_100 » Tue Jul 25, 2006 6:22 am

I have sent my application on Jun 30.
Ref num received on 15 July

For Income proof, I have attched

A)Tax returns submitted on Jun 27(Which will show my earnings till march)
B) Appointment letter (which has my salary details)

I am little worried as I didn't attach my payslips for Months April & May.

I know I should just wait for my luck.. Do anyone has any comment on this?

PS: I am posting this so other will take care of this.

my application was returned.... help me please

Post by vikramk » Wed Jul 26, 2006 5:45 pm

Hi all,

My application was returned from HO today. The reason for not processing is due to an error with the payment.
I am actually puzzled. I had given a valid VISA card details.
(In card no. section I entered 16+3 digits, then the same last 3 digits CVV No.)

Can anyone please suggest me, on how I can get a UK postal order. I am applying from India.
I would be very thankful if someone can reply with a solution.

Thanks.

Wait, did you put 16+3 numbers in the same box, and THEN put the CVC number on the 2nd box? If yes, the you should have just put 16 numbers only in the first box.

Approval ref number..

Post by maar » Thu Jul 27, 2006 8:22 am

Hi,

I got ref on 24th July 0790XX

Who ever got approval, could you please post the first 4 digits except the last two, so that we can get an idea of how long it will take for us...

first three digits would not be appropriate as the range is 1000 applicants..

thanks for all your help here on this forum

cheers...maar

Heaven13,

Don't worry, I got the reference number 28 days after the application reached the HO, the money was deducted after 17 days including holidays.

It is very strange that who submitted applications 10 days after me got reference number 7 days before me, I'm guess on what basis HO picks up the application.... is it based on our luck ?

However, I think the age is calculated based on the day they received your application at Home office and not based on the date they start.. hence no need to worry I guess.

All the best.

Cheers...Maar
