Hi all, hope someone is able to help.
My husband is applying for Ilr in june after his 5year work permit.
His salary is less than the figure agreed on his actuel work permit document there has been an increase in the last year but might still be less than agreed amount.
He is a site manager and is responsible for one emplyee on site. we do not know what catergory he fits into and how they work out the salary, will this effect his application? please help.

UKBA expects a Technical Change Form, if the salary being recd has reduced by more than 30% from the orginal salary as per WP

Thanx for replying, he's salary is just about 15% less than his work permit agreed salary. Does he still need a technical change form. Also does his letter from employer need to state only his current salary excluding overtime and extras? Answer is much appreciated. Thanx.

For Work Permit holders the Salary should be at or above the appropriate rate for the job as listed in COP and the Employer should certify this. More details available on UKBA website.
