Clarification regarding Assessment of previous earnings

Post by oraja_kumar » Tue May 31, 2011 2:17 pm

While filling form for Tier1 GEneral Visa extension

For Previous earnings of £40,000 or more it gives : 45 Points

Now it states "The applicant can claim points for previous earnings in any single, consecutive 12-month period during the 15 months immediately before the date of applying"

IF a person's GROSS Salary as per payslips = 40000+ in 10 past months itself , will that be a problem or does the person need to show All 12 months Gross Salary slips in which case it will be far more than 40K

Also did you create an XLS spreadsheet showing Each month's Gross & Net Pay for 12 months and then the TOTALS and gave that to Visa officer alongwith Bank statements ?

Thanks

You can show 10 months if you have sufficient earnings.
If you are showing 12 months then additional 2 months salary will make you more safe if for any reason certain part of gross earnings is not considered e.g. some allowances.

XLS not required but if you are putting may make it easy for the case worker to calculate your earnings
