spouse visa (already in UK)

Post by homyachok » Thu Jun 02, 2011 2:38 pm

Hi

My friend's current visa (student visa) expires in january 2012. she is getting married this november to a british citizen. When does she need to apply for her spouse visa? I heard that she should apply no more than 1 month prior visa expiration? Can she apply straight after she gets married? Also does she need to take english language test before she gets married or can she do it after?

regards

After marriage, switch, as soon as possible.
