AS I found many kind supportive people in this forum, I found two other weird (Mikado and Latan) as well and I don't know what they are trying to do? is it unneeded sense of humour, I do not know?!!!!
What I advise them to do is to stop this kind of game they r practicing

Hey guys,

I'm a March 2009 applicant and just dropping a quick update here.

I phoned them up last Thursday to inquire about the progress and I was told by the woman that the Garda reports have started coming back to them for the early 2009 applicants. She couldn't tell me if the reports for my application in particular had come back but she did confirm that they are working on the application and that the Garda vetting reports are being returned to early 2009 applicants. She also confirmed that the reports for my application were requested in early January this year (so, five months to date). Once those reports have come back in full, they'll make a quick check that they have all they need (otherwise, they'll contact me for more documents) and commence the final stage of the application process.

I don't know if this was mentioned before or if you all know about it; but she also said that most naturalization approvals (aka Form 7) are normally sent out in batches with three main batches being processed every year. The next batch is expected in August but she would not say from which year will those applicants be but it's probably safe to assume they'll be mainly early 2009 applicants (and whomever's left from 2008) if all goes well with their applications.

It's the form you take along to get stamped in court after you've take the citizenship oath. I think it's referred to as Form 7 (or something along those lines).

Hi

My friend involved in a minor car accident 3 years before even though it's not her fault, since she hit from behind, her insurer had to pay for the other car. It happened in 'L' turn, the person who turned before stopped for some reason and my friend hit the car from behind before realising it. There was a small damage and no one was hurt. Gardai said, it's very normal accident and don't worry.

The accident happened in 2008 and my friend applied for naturalization in 2009. She recently sent all the latest documents and got acknowledgement. All other requirements/documents are perfect and looks like her application is in final stage. She is bit worried about that accident...will it affect her naturalization application. Any advice !

not to worry atall its not a crime or offence of breaking of law of road. jst chill, can u pls tell us when ur friend applied for naturalisation what month of 2009 also when Doj ask for additional doctuments, pls let us know.

She applied in May 2009 and DOJ did not send any letter asking for additional documents but she voluntarily sent all the latest docs last month and got acknowledgement within a week.

If your friend was not charged of any offence as a result of the accident, and had not incurred any other charges afterwards then she has nothing to worry about.

I was handed a redundancy notice yesterday....Feel very low.
Applied for naturalization in last days of September '08 and exhausted from waiting with no end in sight....

Sorry to burst the bubbles and all this pessimism on such a lovely day.

Marisa be positive I'm in the same situation like you, but worest, as the INIS asked me for latest payslip and I gave them 2 only also my problem with my wifes's application as they still waitting for garda report and I'm afraid they would ask for more of my payslips as she dependent on me so the situation is so complicated but we have nothing to do except wait and see and just pray to god.

Its really very ok to feel low but the most important thing is you need to keep hope alive by being positive and staying strong.
There's this saying that keeps me going: "Weeping may endure but for a night but JOY cometh in the Morning" am sure there is a light at the end of the Tunnel for you Marisa.
A friend who applied same time as youdid, recently got approval and he applied for his passport two days ago.And much more my beautiful wife who applied in 2009 was told her documents were with the minister.
Its a good day lets be thankful,

She only needed to send her p21 on request.

So sorry to hear about your redundancy. As advised, stay strong and be positive. Have a look at my signature and draw inspiration from there. "Better the end of a steadfast 'man' than the beginning thereof". Most people I know with a similar time line as you are at the final stage of the naturalization process i.e applications are with the minster for approval. If yours have gone to this stage, then you have nothing to worry about. In any case, stay positive and all will be well.
