Tier 2 (General) change of emplyment with in same company

Hi,
i m curreently on tier 2 general visa valid until 2013, but my company is offering me a new job, i need to make a change of employment application.

they have taken the RMLT and got the cos allocation but when they were assigning me the new cos for new job with different Code of practice, they were refused, saying that you hav already sponsored this employ.
my question is how can we make the change of job within same company. do they need to cancel the active cos or how?

Please need urgent advice.
