Eligibility for citizenship after 3 years

Post by thunderera » Fri Jun 03, 2011 8:29 pm

Hi,
I got my ILR in May 2011 after completing 5yrs on T1 and my wife also got ILR after completing 2yrs on spouse visa at the same time.

Can we both apply for citizenship in June 2012? Or do I need to apply first and then my wife has to apply as a spouse of a british citizen immediately after that completing the tree year rule?

Apreciate any comment as the guideline is not very clear to me.

Thank You

Perhaps joint application is possible, after spouse completes three years.

Thanks. Is there any place I can get it confirmed. Will UKBA respond to questions regarding citizenship?
