tier 1 extension query

Hello there, can someone advice on below:

- is tier 1 dependent elligible for extension ( my wife is my dependent and i am the main applicant, she also meets the points requirement - is it possible that we extend the visa as her being main applicant)???

Extension of leave = further leave to remain under the same immigration category.

Main applicant extends as main applicant.
Dependant extends as dependant.

No.
she can be extended only as a dependent
