1. VAF4 Application form for settlement visa
2. Passport of applicant (Original)
3. Letter from applicant
4. Marriage certificate (Original with apostill and translated and notarised version)

B. Proof of English test requirement

5. Confirmation of entry to English test including login and password(Original)
6. KET English test certificate (Original)

C. Finances

7. Sponsor’s 6 months of bank statements from 4 bank accounts (Original)
8. Financial explanation letter for one bank account
9. Monthly budget of maintenance funds
10. P60 2008-2009, 2009-2010 (Original)
11. 6 months Payslips of previous job (Original)
12. Proof of applicant’s property (Original, translated version)

D. Accommodation

13. Residentl landlord tenancy agreement (Original)
14. Support letter from landlord (Original)
15. Floor plan
16. Photos of the property (Original)
17. Council tax bill for 2011/12 (Original)
18. Council service charge statement (Original)

E. Sponsor’s documents

19. Sponsorship letter of support (Original)
20. Sponsor undertaking form SU07 (Original)
21. Sponsor’s bio page of passport and visa pages (notarised copy of and copies)
22. Sponsor’s birth certificate (certified copy)

F. Proof of relationship

23. Applicant’s Registration certificate/Residential permit for India (Original)
24. Sponsor’s overseas citizenship of India (certified copy )
25. Proof of communication during 3 month period time apart 8/2/10 to 11/05/10 (emails 6 pages)
26. Various photographs of sponsor and applicant together (Original)
27. Proof of sponsor and applicant’s travel together (Air tickets, train tickets)
28. Support letters for marriage from friends (4 letters, original)
29. Invitation card for Indian religious marriage ceremony

One more question, Should I place each copy of the original immeditely after the original in the same folder or provide a folder full of copies.?

That's a very big and exhaustive list of documents, everyone should get this prepared for their Visa application.

I am not sure about Copies anymore, I have been hearing they have stopped asking for Copies but yes do take copies of everything one for yourself (in case they misplace your docs) and one for submission. I am not sure how many copies they usually ask for I think its 2 copies they ask from the applicant.

In terms of placing them, I think you should place them separately but not sure what would be best. Otherwise the officer will have to go through each doc to separate out the copies for their records manually.
Feb 2012 - Spouse Visa - New Delhi
Mar 2012 - Documents collected - VISA Granted
March 2014 - ILR Granted
Apr 2015 - Applied for Naturalisation
Nov 2015 - Naturalised

Spouse visa received!
Husband got email 5th July to pick up his papers, picked it up today.

Its all thanks to the people and information on this forum. Its the best one out there!.

Just a bit confused how this all fits together, UK visa applied from Belarus with a hint of India?

Husband is Belarusian, I am British, we lived in India, so we showed proof of visa that we did.
