my non eu husband got a schengen with our marriage cert

Post by skyepark » Sat Jun 04, 2011 10:00 pm

We travelled together to the EU and came back, he will travel without me next time as I am not in the country, can he do this? Can he carry our marriage cert instead? i've seen what a shengen visa looks like both tourist and spouse the only difference I can see is that gratis is written and maybe type c-12 visa. He is a non-EU national I am British and he hasn't got his UK SPouse visa yet.

Help?

When he travels with you he has a right of free movement that comes from European law.

If he travels on his own, he needs to get a visa and jump through all the hoops.
