Both parents Tier 1 General.New born's on dependant salary?

Hi,

I run my own limited company and am a director of the company. My wife is employed and is getting her maternity pay now. Since I dont draw any salary from my limited company (I take only dividends), can I submit my wife's earning proof to support the Tier 1 dependant application for my 6 months old baby?

I have maintained the funds in my wife's personal bank account and not mine. Can you help me if this is fine? Should I prepare any additional documentation?

I think for dependents application you only need to meet maintainence funds requirement. You need not to send documents confirming your earnings.
