Yes, we applied for my husbands FLRM at Croydon.
We spent about 5 hours there and it was very easy and well worth the extra money rather then going the cheaper option and posting the application.
Staff there were so friendly and made you at ease.
We first went through security, then to have our documents checked. Next step was to make the payment. We then had to wait our turn to see a member of staff who went through our documents again. Hubby then had his fingerprints taken and biometrics done.
We were then made to wait to see another member of staff, who took photocopies of all our documents. He was very friendly and made lots of jokes to put us at ease. He then told us to come back after an hour and he would call us. After an hour we were called to his cubicle and my husband was given his visa.
We shall be going the Croydon route in December for his Indefinate Leave to Remain so we get a same day answer.
