Seperation means what exactly ? EUFam4

Post by Dublin3232 » Wed Jun 08, 2011 12:04 pm

Hi all, another separation question.

Quick summary

We lived together 3 years in UK, than

We got married in Nov 2005 - I am non EU

Came to Ireland 2006

We got separated late 2008

Today is 2011, in November we will be "married" 6 years, but separated since 2008

We never signed anything, just something happened, that got us separated, and living apart

Apart form that, we , or I , tick all the boxes for all checks and papwework

My Stamp 4 EUFam expires Mar 2012 (5 years)
Been in Ireland since Sept 2006

What do i do next?

Read through the several recent threads on this same topic.

Long story short, if your wife is still here and exercising EU Treaty Rights, you should be ok, especially if the relationship is still amicable and she is willing to cooperate with you in providing proof of what she is doing in terms of work etc.

yes, she is still here, working full time, like I am

I did read all the info, and we have all the important documenttion:

Full tim employment since we arrived in Ireland = P60 for the whole time

Health insurance + travel insutance for the whole time

Never ben in any kind of trouble with the Guards for anything

never claimed any walfare

I am sure she will halp, as we both want the divorce when the time comes.

it was her fauly we seperated, she feels bad, so she "should" help me
