Help - What were the structure of your reference numbers?

Post by eliseevmv » Wed Jul 26, 2006 8:55 am

Dear forum members,

How can I find out whether my application is treated
as UNDER 28 or as OVER 28?

The application form is actually received by Home Office (i know it from UPS site)
BEFORE my 28th birthday.

But credit card was charged AFTER my 28th birthday.

Also in HSMP receipt (I got it by air mail) set the date AFTER my 28th birthday.

The reference number has a structure: 077158 / 01

I wonder what / 01 mean? Probably it means "under 28" or "over 28"?

Can anyone help me?

What was the structure of your reference numbers - with "/ 01" or with any other
numbers in the end?
Were you under or over 28 year?

Looking forward for your answers.

Call them or email them.
Or wait for answer :)
You have not anythig to lose.
But if in their letter said that application recieved after you 28 it is bad :(
The best way is call them and explain that it is not you blame.

All the bests

dont worry, as long as it was received before your 28th birthdate then it will be treated as under 28.

YEs, if it is received even a day before u turned 28, it is an u-28 application....and i don't know what does this 01 suffixed with the Reference no. means but even i had it and i was an u-28 applicant...so u can relax...

Thank you very much!

Aspekt,

Did you really said that you was considered as UNDER 28 and you had the same "/ 01" suffix ?

Hi all

Employer did not right Graduate level job
becouse as i asked him, he said it is clear from the designation
that it is a graduate level job and it does not seems professional
if we right graduate level job with such designation.

In my case
Designation: Software engineer
and My degree is Bachelor of software engineering.

so if i am wrong please correct me becouse i have submitted my application with out that "It is agraduate level job",except that
my letter explain my duties fully.

I shall be very thank full to all.

Sajid, Now when you have submitted the application, don't panic and leave things for furure...I find this logic og 'Graduate Level Job' very vauge....I don't know which country you belong to but I guess in India you are employed for most of the jobs as u r a graduate....but b'coz I have faced this situaton personally and the reason for my rejection twice was the employer reference letter...my emplyer said the same thing like ur's but i somehow convinced him to write that i was hired b'coz i have this bachelors degree...and also with one emplyer i convinced him to write that when i was hired i was a gradaute...i don't know what problem does employer have in writing the truth...what can we do if HO needs it this way...
but then as u r from the IT stream, u might get away with it as per the remarks from ur employer...keep your fingers cross....

I don't know what excatly are u asking me...i have again re worded and let me know if this does not answer your question:~)
Some of the employers are reluctant tou use this language 'Graduate Level' so try to make them understand that this is important for this letter and if they are not willing to exactly write this work ask them to write that you were a graduate when u were hired...and in your case the letter cud have said that you were hired b'coz u were a 'Bachelor of software engineering'...but as u have sent this application u can't do much but may be if they have any objection then it might be for your future use...i would also suggest that get the job advert for the similar job like ur's as in the job adverts they norally writes that they need particular qualification...and explains that in your letter....
i wud ask you to be positive and sicerely wish the result to be favourable too but then take my case...i fought back evry time they had objection....

HSMP REF.NOO

Post by bhanuprasad_m » Fri Jul 28, 2006 10:01 am

Huy friends,

Ref:no: xxxxxx/01 means it's first review. As u know for hsmp applications two reviews allowed. 01 means first review. 02 means second review.but i don't know how far it is correct.bcoz i have read the same thing in a site.plz confirm it. i don't remember the site name. for first time application they only give ref no as:xxxxxx.

give hsmp ref no in google and find out hte information.

bye
