Premium Service taking too long

Hello
A family member applied for ILR on a month ago using the one day premium service but was told to supply more documents which he posted to the HO the next day.

He called the HO the same week for an update but was told that this could take up to 14 weeks to make a decision. His new job are requesting for his papers which he's sure he meets all the requirements to secure the ILR.

Does anyone have any tips, ideas or advise please.
