How long back do the old addresses go?

I have been living at my current address for around a year therefore I have to proceed to the question asking about my last address where I stayed for another 2 years, do I have to carry on providing older addresses after this (1 + 2) or is this enough?

Questions in the form relating to previous address details suggests that the HO's more interested in all your addresses in the last 2yrs preceding your application.
