2 weeks and still waiting!ugh!

Post by bobby1987 » Mon Jun 13, 2011 9:56 pm

I've been to the croydon ukba home office last 31st of May to apply for my FLR(m).. Everything went really well,i done my biometric and everything, all my documents has been accepted and valid but unluckily, one of the staff told me that they can't viewed my PTE english language test score report, so i was told it needs further assesement, so by the next day what i did is, i sent the score report to the UKBA as my institution and which can be view after 2days, and i phoned the PTE office to sort it out for me, but they just told me exactly what i did- send the score report to the institution which is the UKBA-sheffield. So by then, i haven't heard anything at all. I was really worrying since i paid Premuim Service so i'm really expecting the processing will be continious and quick as possible. please help. any thoughts?

Unfortunately if a decision on an application isn't made at a PEO on the day, it joins the postal queue without any priority processing.

I attended at PEO sheffield on May 27th, they needed further enquiries (see my posts elsewhere) and I am still waiting... unfortunately when it comes to UKBA/PEO centers customer service is worse than anywhere else... to say the least

A decision could not be made on the day i submitted my FLR(M) due to discrepancies with the english test result.

2 days later i got the reponse in the post that my wifes Visa had been accepted!.

So i guess it does not join the postal queue automatically

I phoned em yesterday, but useless really. They just told me to wait and UK Border Agency will contact me if further information is required. 15 days waiting is not a joke,so bit worried.

we're in the same boat, I have been visiting the PEO regularly requesting updates, I am lucky (or unlucky) to live 10 minutes away from Sheffield PEO... at least I know why this has been delayed, although I do not agree with their reasons...

what have they told you? have you got the chance to go to the PEO?

i know this must be frustrating for you but the time it took to grant any of my husbands visas were not less then 5 months ( and when your aprt for nearly a year - it sucks)

2 weeks? i know its annoying but trust me... it could be worse..

Chill out, the more you stress about it the longer it will seem its taking..

Well said, many people here have suffered under the rules of the UKBA, why should OP expect different treatment.
