Dear all

I am a non eu national resident in ireland as a mother of an irish born. I ve been a legit since 2005.

I am planning to put in an application for naturalisation/citizenship but my current stats is below

I live in a house supported by RAS
I still use a medical card
I work as an health care worker
I am not on social welfare benefit

Pls will very much appreciate if u can share any experience similar with mine with ur apps with d state/inis. Also will welcome advise on whether its ok I go ahead with the apps or pend it for now.

I also have a friend with a similar case but stays in a council flat. What are our chances. Thanks

Hi, I applied for a council flat as well in 2006 and still waiting on it.
I do not see a problem . I am also sending my application this week for Naturalization.

Hi, I just got approval. We lived in a council house for many years and it does not affect your application. Don't worry, you will be fine.
