UK citizen marrying Indian national settlement visa process

Hi all,
I am a british national and my wife is Indian. We have to apply for settlement visa for my wife to join me in the UK. VFS in India told me that the process would take around 3 months. I thought that this processing time is unusually long and I was wondering if that is always the case or it would take less duration than that. I would appreciate any advice from anyone who has gone through this process. Does it normally take this long?

I'm sorry to say it is roughly 3 months

Our setellement visa in India (cochin) for fiance took 3 and a half months - i was in UK and he was in India!

our application before that was rejected as we applied for the wrong visa and come back within 2 weeks.

Just be strong for your wife.. do you have enough documents etc?
