I know, nanette... I'm going away, but I can't change it. I can only hope to get a decision before the 8th July. Can you please use your medium skills?

+: I'm at work, need to wait until I get home.
Marisa,

Any posts yesterday?

Cheers,

That's sad. Hopefully it should come next week.

Do you know when your file was sent to the Minister?

Hang in there...

Confusing and contradicting information as usual: one said the 4th April, another said it was the 29th.

plasticpady,

congratz,

keep your passport just send your GNIB card. And you won't get it back. It is over.

If you are a refugee, you need to send back your refugee passport as well.

I had the same issue before...they told me that they could send me back my GNIB to travel for business and when I am back to send it back to them again. And that moment they will post my CoN.

I said well, I better finish with the passport thing and travel another day.

Your choice but ask them before deciding yourself.

Think it'll be ok as the new "citizenship ceremony" will be introduced soon. So hopefully we don't have to wait to get court appointment and for the CON.

Congratulations to your brother, adura.

Perhaps I should have waited another year and apply in 2009...
As my '08 "train" runs slower than for the most of my friends. Most of them applied in 2006/7 and waited 30 months the longest.

Yeah, I'm thinking the same. had waited almost 4 years to apply, now I'm thinking should have waited 1 more year and would have got it by this time :-(

I understand you well. Being in the country since 2001 I should have applied in 2006, but procrastinated until late 2008 :(
