Lost Passport! Restamping fee? time?

Post by siddkhan » Fri Jun 17, 2011 2:20 pm

HI everbody . need your feedback plz

I got my tier 1 general in october,2008. I lost my passport (with the visa stamp)last month and now have made a new one . I now have to get it restamped or in other words to get the visa on passport. SO my question is

1.) What is the precise procedure to get this done? any forms to fill?

2.) How much does it cost?

3.) Any idea how much time can it roughly take to get it stamped ?

WOuld be waiting for replies from you guys.
Many thanx .

1. UkBA website is the website to find a form

2. Cost the same most probably as it did on your extension/application

3. You will not get it stamped onto your passport now instead you will be issued with Biometric Residence Permit which will be your new leave to remain in thek uk

Read Transferring your visa to a new passport.
siddkhan wrote:2.) How much does it cost?
Read Sec. 3 of the TOC guidance notes.
siddkhan wrote:3.) Any idea how much time can it roughly take to get it stamped ?
Read Sec. 4 of the TOC guidance notes.

Also read The documents you should provide to support your application for transfer of visa.

Hope this helps.
