Thanks Nanette

I didn't contact them at all because I didn't think that they will process our applications this year, however reading the forum they seem to speed up the process . I suppose I'll give them a call next week when I'm off work.
nanette wrote:They will ask you what they need but merely P21, Payslips and Bank Account (ensure that you send current account and that ithas some money).

Just wait if they ask you for additional then send what they ask.

Have you been in contact with them lately? what did they say. If not try contacting them today to find out.

Nanette

Me, my wife and my son applied in Nov 2009. No additional documents requested yet. Some of you guys mentioned that you sent in the additional documents without being requested .
My question is what documents has to be sent in for me and my wife ?
My son just finished first year in college ( is a 4 year course) and started a summer job ( never worked before), what documents should he send in ?

Thanks

I'm sorry to have kept you waiting, guys, I've just got home. And sorry for disappointment. In fact, I had visualised the envelope being there so clearly that I checked the letterbox twice.
It is probably somewhere next to Aceform's application. I think all of the '08 ones are placed together in the same pile :)

My mother applied in 2007 and still hasn't received a reply, do you think that she should be receiving an answer soon? She receives child benefit ( we are 6 children, 3 irish born) and disability allowance as she cares for my dad and my sister who was in a critical condition after a life threatening car crash in Galway in 2008.
I applied as a minor with my mom in 2007 but got refused because I was underage so I applied last year just a few months before I turned 18, so I'm still waiting for a reply!
Do you think we should be getting a reply soon? Should I call and find out the progress of our application? How can I call them to find out?

Would appreciate it if someone could give me their opinion, and a big congrats to everyone who received approvals, enjoy being Irish! ;)

I am a bit confused and hope someone can tell me what they think.

I've applied in Sept 2008 and still haven't received an answer.

If I am to believe what INIS have told me that
- My file is back from the minister with a decision (but she could tell me what it was over the phone - called 2 weeks ago)
- Applications are processed in STRICT chronological order

Why then have I not received anything in the post yet, considering that people in 2009 are starting to get answers back?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi, Sohanjanvi, thanks for support. Sorry to hear you’re waiting for nearly 3.5 years..Did you try contacting them?
Ireland could really make a Guiness Book record for the longest naturalization process.

Congrats. Probably the fastest citizenship on the permit i believe. The above highlited part is what has swung for you i believe. There are good few courts in cork county where citizenship hopefuls from dublin got their oath done same day. Ring around and find out and you also have the benefit that you live in the county.

This is great news mate. Many congratulations.

This is just amazing, approval in just 14 months.....

You are now almost an Irish citizen. Just ring the district court and get an appointment and take oath
