Postal Order - question

Hello,

I have filed for extension today after taking a postal order (PO)

I forgot to put my name / birthdate on the back of PO as well as the post office guy told me that I need not write anything on PO front side because everything is printed out example: A/C Payee as well as payable to "Home office".

PO's don't need any signature from my side or any other info from my side written on it? Please let me know....
