ILR for children

Post by mfl » Tue Jun 21, 2011 4:40 pm

Thanks for reply but still i am not clear. For example

child born in uk in 2007, currently has tier 1 general dependent visa which expires april 2012.

Parents eligible for ILR in july 2011. current tier 1 general visa. leave to remain expires april 2012.

Parents applying for ILR july 2011 at PEO. Do they need to apply ILR for child as well? OR
If parents don,t apply for child and were granted ILR, can they register their child as british citizen?

Does child really need ILR in this case or will be eligible for registration as british citizen if parents obtain ILR?
