Could anyone tell me what supporting documents do ips need for first adult passport because the guide book say the passport u entered the uk with so the passport i entered with is expired so do i send the new one or the expired one or the two of them . could some one please let me no thanks .

I applied on the 3rd May 11 and I was informed last week that a decision was made on my application. I have not received any letter yet. I called HO yesterday and the officer said that it normally takes about 5 working days for the letter to be posted after the decision was made. Then add about 3-4 days for 2nd class post. In total we are looking at about 10 days after the decision was made by HO.

Looking at decision dates of other postal application, we can expect our approval letter by 24 or 25 or 27th June [ 14/6/2011 decision date based on similar date submission postal application + 10 working days ]

23 May 2011: Application now on the system and currently awaiting allocation to a caseworker. I will not be calling again until 23 June 2011. I hope to hear something before then though.

I am still awaiting a good news from HO, so its too early to congratulate me, i guess you misunderstood someone else's approval as mine.

I am covered under HSMP Judicial Review and got my ILR in Aug 2010 however i completed my five year residency in April 2010. I received a letter from HO with my ILR approval advising that
I am considered free from Immigration restriction since april 2010 and i shld submitt their letter with nationality app (when i apply).

So basically i have requested for waiver of one year ILR rule as i was free from immigration restrictions since april 2010.

Lets hope to get some positive reply, i recall that someone else on this forum also did that and was Nationality app was approved.

This is encouraging and also shows that the phone operators don't really know much about the progress of the applications until it is logged on the system. And that is when the approval letter has been printed and sent out!

Rang today to HO and the guy answered it is waiting to be allocated to a CW. I asked about my document, has it already been scanned or not. He said 'no' document has not been scanned yet...

Does anyone know about their procedure regarding document scan. When should it be done? before or after going to a CW.
