any updates to any one waiting on their visas
make sure u guys chk online status always , ive registered my self for sms alerts but havent got any sms to pick my passport , ive just checked it online and my passport was ready !
i dont know why do they take bloody 100 rs for dis service if it is not working perfect

did you have to go for a medical or no??

and how did you qualify for english language requirement? ielts or degree?? if ielts what band score did you acheive?

hi

just to inform u that Uk border agency stop doing any medicals now , there are some countries from where medical is still required but indian residence people dont require to undergo medical examinations

I qualified my english requirement by giving IELTS test , scored 6.5 overall (academic )
ive just attached my original ielts score card with the application

even though i got an passed degree thaught in english , Uk border was saying it should be assesed first by UKNARIC which is in UK , means u need to send them all your documents and they will asses your degree after that they will send you an certificate which u will need to attach in your application , it was hard and not sure for certificate , so i opted to go for IELTS test rather than going through UKNARIC..

Total working days: 52

Ejaz12 - The status changes online from 12PM UK Time (BST). I have seen this change for different types of visas (Family visit when applied for my parents, settlement for my wife and child and Tier 2 Migrant visa for my team members)

So the best thing is to check at 4:30 PM IST and then again at 5 - 5:30 PM IST.

The 1st status change will be "Processed Application in Transit" and it again changes twice within 2 hours. This is what I have noted for the above mentioned applications in the last 3 months.
