When to apply for PSW?

Hello, iam going to start one year postgraduate masters course in September 2011, with Tier 4 student visa, as far as i understand they will close PSW completely in April 2012 is it correct?

Can i apply and switch my T4 to T1 PSW before i finish my course in July 2012? Thanks...

You will only qualify for psw if you have been awarded a relevant qualifications within 12 months of your application. So unless you have already been awarded a UK degree prior to your masters course then no you can't apply for psw before you have finished your course.

If the sole purpose of your postgraduate master’s course is to obtain PSW; then I would recommend don’t waste your time and money.

There is an educational establishment (in association with a leading university) doing a crash course (MBA) and you can obtain your degree well before april, 2012 to apply for psw, these are however subject to some eligibility criteria and qualification. pls contact the undersigned via email for further information.
