Apply for ILR or 2nd Extension

Post by Amapee2008 » Mon Jun 27, 2011 9:41 pm

Hi Senior Members,
I would like your advice on this please.

Initial HSMP stamped: 05th March 2008
Arrived UK: 26th June 2008
Exension for another 3years: 05th March 2010
Expires: 05th March 2013

My question is: Do I qualify to apply for ILR seeing that by March 2013 I will be short with 3 months and 2 weeks before I can apply for ILR or DO I need to apply for a 2nd extension to get the extra months required to meet up ILR?

I do appreciate all your input and time.

Thanks and look forward to your advice on this matter.

Regards.

Hi guys,

Can you point me to some link which mentions that they consider applications from upto 90 days before you have spent 5 years in the UK?

Cheers

Thanks rajesh, that helps a lot. I am in the same boat myself, and will be short by a month when I apply for ILR in 2013, this is great news for people like me.

The earlier rule dint make much sense, as obviously you cant travel immediately after you get the visa.

Thanks again.

Cheers
