One Way Ticket - Entering the UK on Spouse Visa

Post by sweetmissy » Mon Jun 27, 2011 8:38 am

Hey everyone,

Is it ok for my husband to enter the UK on a single (one way) ticket, once his Spouse Visa is granted?

Or does he have to get a return flight?

Anyone know?

Thank you

Hi sweet missy,

what i would mention is to check airlines as some of them will not carry egyptian nationals as well as some other nationalities ( am unsure whether this actually applies when they have 2 year temporary settlement or not), but it was something I came across when I booked my husband's flight from Egypt to UK.

I seem to remember Thomas Cook or Thomson won't, but Egypt Air (obviously!), BMI and Easyjet definately do. My husband flew from Sharm to Heathrow with Easyjet.
