FLR(M) Spouse Visa - Help!

Post by zimtimtim » Fri Jul 01, 2011 11:30 am

Hello,

Please can yuo help breing clarification to my situation and what I need to do.

My Situation -I'm on an ancestral visa and have been in the UK for 9 years with a 2 year break after 5 years. Ancestral visa expires Aug 2011. I have been married for nearly 2 years to a UK resident.

I'm trying to apply for a Spouse visa via form FLR/M and am confused by the ESOL test I've been told i need to take? I called the Home office and they confirmed this. As far as I knew i needed to take the 'Life in UK' test?

Is this correct? Any help guidance would be much appreciated :)

I have called the Home Office and they 100% confirm it's Not 'Life in UK' i need but ESOL course or equivalent.

Does anyone know what other course I can do that is quick and don't have to enroll in a college?

This is crazy!
