I've waited over the 2 year-mark now and they INIS tell me 1 more year.
1 more year  didn't you ask why? You should have asked them that you have already waited for 2 years. Do you have LTR?

I think you should call them again tomorrow. And tell them that you already have LTR. And ask them if they require any more documents.
Also "remind them of minister promise for 6 month" Even though it may not help but atleast fromt his point onwards you should not wait for 1 more year. This is not good.

Also tell them that on INIS website it is written that currently they are processing late 2009 applications so what about yours then?

Keep us posted what they say? Good Luck.

Citizenship Ceremony

Post by Aceform » Mon Jul 04, 2011 11:07 am

Hello Folks and Marisa,

Just received the letter from INIS, but there is no yellow form :-)

Got an invite to attend the citizenship ceremony. But date is not mentioned in the letter. They have asked me to provide the fees, and 2 photos and send it to INIS.

A date will be given within 6 weeks of submitting the above documents.

Good luck fellas,

Ace

I agree. This forum was instrumental in providing me with answers at times where I got very frustrated with the process.

Thanks to all for your valuable input.

I suppose the reason there is no yellow form is because we do not need to make court appointments for our oaths any more since it will be issued at the ceremony.
