Ilr for dependant when to apply??

Hi all
My Ilr is due in feb 2012 under 10 years long residence.
My wife and son came to uk on 9th october 2005 as student dependant.
then in 2008 i got hsmp and my dependant they are living with me as a hsmp/tier 1 dependants.
I have two questions.
when they can apply for ilr?

a.in 2012 after i get Ilr
OR
b.they have to apply for Set-M and spend two more years to apply for ILR?

Switch to FLR(M) required.

When does their (dependants) Tier 1 leave expire?

Switch to FLR(M) after you are granted settlement.
Given that the dependants have been on PBS leave since 2008, they may be eligible for settlement (SET(M)) immediately after grant of FLR(M) leave (287)(a)(d)).

Thanks for your advice sir.
I just have couple of queries.My daughter is born in uk in 2008 and she is tier1 dependent,holding indian passport,i would like to know whether she has to apply for ILR or citizenship?
and another question is can my wife and my son apply for ilr in january 2013 as they are living in uk pbs dependent for 5 years rather then switching to FLRM and then Set-M.

1. See child born in the UK.
2. Applying for settlement without switching to FLR(M) may not be possible for other dependants (wife and son).

I was out of country for 103 days on one occassion, is that going to create any problem in my contineous stay under 10 years long residency.
and for my wife ,if she convert to Flrm then she need to pass english A1 certificate course or Life in the uk test will enough.
