Tax and NI for Tier 2 ICT worker

Post by durga » Wed Jul 06, 2011 3:15 pm

Hi,

Last year November I got the Tier2 ICT visa (Validity for 3 years). I started working in UK from 7 months. My salary package is £30k/year. My take home salary is around £1800/month.Currently my company is deducting 11% NI and 20% Tax. I got the information from the internet ICT employer package can be split as £12000(Basic) and £18000(Allowances, includes Accommodation and expenses).

Does this information should be provided by company while applying for COS?My employee is not having previous experience in dealing with ICT visa. I am the first one which got the ICT visa.

When i ask my employee about the split in the package, he asked me show the information in the UKBA website. Does the above salary split is Correct?

Please some one provide me the directions to get the proper information.
