Hi Susheel,

Congrats and Many Thanks for the information.

2. Original and attested photocopy of Passport ( Wife + 2 Kids)
3. Original and attested photocopy of class 10th certificate as proof of Age. Original and attested photocopy of birth certificate of kids
4. Original and attested photocopy of marriage certificate as relationship evidence.

When you say attested copies I believe its self attested rite? or Any gazetted officer attested the originals?

Please advise

Hi Susheel,

thanks for the valuable information.

I have a query.

my wife is applying the DP visa in this month 12th ( i.e July 12th). I have bank statements for the last 6 months upto 1st July.

So by the time we submit i will not have that 2nd to 12th July statment copy. Do you see this as an issue ?

Please suggest. It will be really helpful for me.

Hi indian,

I am 100% agree with you. If main applicant has been in UK less than 12 month then he has to show 800 GBP as per UKBA policy guidance. But from last 3-4 months many dependent Visa has been rejected because of 800 GBP.
My opinion is now dependent visa fee is INR 6000 (from India). Than no need to take any risk. Better if you can show 2800. I have postpone 2 month my plan because of this.
see the below link..

Its uoto you its your money...

Hi,

bank statement address and tenency agreement address are different its not any issue. Bank statement must have your full name as per mention in your visa application/passport form.
Infect tenency agreement is optional if you have 1% dought then no need to show it. Do not take any risk.

Hi Susheel,

I have one more query. my wife is applying her Tier1 General DP visa from India ( Hyderabad VFS) in this month.

She has got the VAF10 duly filled and signed and all supporting documents.

Do we need to submit an online application form as well ?? IS this mandatory ?

I am just planning to go there to the VFS center and submit all the documents along with the VAF10.

Please suggest.

Thanks a lot for your help.

Hi Subba,

You should take online appointment from them only. You have to give 2-3 days options for submission of form in mail. Then they will give one date from Ur options date by email. Take printout of that email visit VFS center. No need to fill application Online.

Subba, I replied this in another thread. Online application is not mandatory.Take printout of the form and fill it. That is enough.

Send a mail to VFS and take appointment that will be easy. However you can even go without appointment but you might have to wait in queue.

Hi Shusheel

Congratulations my friend and thanks for sharing this valuable information with us.

Shusheel my wife is applying for dependant visa from pakistan and I am living in UK for more than one year.

How much should I show in my bank to sponsor her, and in VAF10, part 5, where did you mention tier1 information, I have noticed there information only about tier2 and 4, and nothing about tier 1.

Your quick response will be highly appreciated!

Regards

Azmat
