Tier 1 dependent application when main applicant outside UK

Post by pkgahlyan » Thu Jul 07, 2011 7:24 am

Dear All,

I am really thankfull to this forum for helping me in applying successfully for Tier 1 application. My old post is here
http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewto ... highlight=

My current situation:
I received my Tier 1 G VISA in UK while I was on Tier 2 ICT. After receiving the visa in March 2011, I returned back to India using my Tier 2 ICT VISA. Now I want to visit UK in Sept 2011 on Tier 1 G and start my job seach.
However before leaving for UK I want to apply for Tier 1 dependent Visa for my wife and son to avoid documentation and delays at later stage. I have sufficient funds (7000 GBP) in my Indian account.

Now I have following queries:
1. Can I apply for my dependent before leaving for UK? (Most of cases I have seen on this forum are where main applicant is in UK before applying for dependents)
2. Do I have to submit my Passport or BRP in original along with their application.

I am planning for following documents
a. Bank statement, covering letter (for my account containing 7000 GBP)
b. Marriage certificate
c.Child birth certificate
d. Child, wife's passport have my name

Do you feel any other document should also be included?

Best Regards,
Parveen

Hi,

1. Yes you can apply even if in india provided you ve all the docs.
2. You dont have to submit any of your original, just a copy of it would do good.

For the list of docs to submit, go through some of the posts, there tons of them floating around.

Regards...
