Tier 4 student switch to EEA marriage still work 20hrs week?

Can a Tier 4 student who is applying for a marriage visa using the EEA route still work part time (20hrs/week) whist waiting for the application to be processed. also tier 4 visa expires very soon - 15th july 2011

If the Tier 4 holder makes a valid application before leave expires, then leave will be "treated as continuing" under Section 3C.

thanks for the quick reply.
so looking at section 3c, leave would be extended under the same conditions of the tier 4 visa.
what evidence (receipt of application) would be acceptable for continuing part -time employment. i.e proof to employer that still legally allowed to work 20hrs during term-time?
