Future ILR preparations

Hello all,

I came to this country in Sep-2000 on TWES for 2 years.

I went back to India in Sept/Oct-02 and then again came back to UK

on a 5 years work permit, in April 2003.

Now my company wishes to send me to their USA office (its the branch office of my UK-company ,who had got my WP issued) on a Temp/ Perm work - They are NOT sure yet.

My question is :-

(a) Can I somewhow get the ILR NOW (based on spending time from year 2000 thru to 2006) ?

(b) Going to USA - will it effect / hamper my case for ILR - which will be due in April-2008 ??

(c) How long can I stay out of the country (I have been out for only 20 days, since came here in April-2003) - To get smooth ILR approval in April-2008 ???

I am in a dilemma, please advise me.
