How long is it taking at the moment to get reference numbers and credit cards debited?

Inbetween 5 to 10 business days CC gets charged by HSMP team. They are very fast in charging the CC. Sometimes on the same day they sent the reference no. thru email or you need to call them after 3 to 4 days from cc charged date they will give you the reference no.

My application was recieved August 1st and my credit card was charged the same day. How do I get my reference number? Will they email me? Or should I call them?

if you have Filled your address(and/or email) in the acknowledgement section (Box A) then you will recieve by Post.

If you have only entered email address, then you will recieve by email.


In my openion, wait for another week for the reference number.

Timeline

My application was received on August 1st, my credit card was charged the same day and I got my reference number on August 7th. Now just waiting for a decision. It seems to have moved quite quickly so far ... so fingers crossed!!
Does anyone else have a similar timeline? Would be great to keep in touch to monitor progress?

My Timelines:

Application was received by HO on July 28th.
Credit card was charged the same day
Recieved reference number by Post on August 5th.

Sounds like you have a very similar timeline to me ... would be great to keep in touch. I am a little nervous because I am booked to leave New Zealand on 28th September and hope I will get the all clear by then!

Uh oh.. how come everyone received their ref. number so fast except me? Here's my timeline:

Application received: 7/31/06
CC Charged: 8/1/06
Ref no: NONE TO DATE

I've sent them an email, but received no reply so far.

My Timeline as follows:

Applied: 29th July
CC charged:31 July

Till now (8th Aug), i din receive the reference number either Post or thru email.

This is my second application. Intial one got rejected and reapplying with additional documents.

Some of the members in the forum told that they will maintain the same old reference number with 02 in the suffix.

Any one please shed more lights on this ....

weird how u guys are getting reference numbers so quick!!

My lawyer submitted my application on 26th July and when she contacted HO today to inquire about ref number they told her that HO is experiencing delays while entereing data in the database and would be able to allocate a reference number after 1-2 weeks!

Has anyone being told the same by HO? :roll:

Lol! I cant think of any reason why shed do this, more so since I would pay her only if I get my approval. Havent paid her anything yet 8)
