spouse visa and loans

hi
I have just one question i would like to ask, My wife is in British and i will be applying for spouse visa soon but am worried because my wife had loans and credits card which she absconded paying, will this loans and cards she stopped paying will this affect my application? will embassy know my wife had loans which she stopped paying?

They dont do a credit reference check...

It is based on the bank statements that she supplies them. The bank statements would be the account her salary is paid into.

As far as i know this information is correct.

No they don't go that far.

Her bank statements will show good reflection of her income and expenses per month. Its on these figures that the ECO decides to grant or refuse visa
