Post by bennani » Sat Aug 05, 2006 11:02 am

Hi All,

What I m suppose to do?
I got refusal,

The situation like this:

Educational background
15 points claimed 15 points awarded

Work experience
50 points claimed 0 points awarded

Age allowance under28 Y/O
5 points claimed 5 points awarded

Partner’s achievement
10 points claimed 10 points awarded

How to arrange the review? Do I have to attach something to the application form???
If someone has experience please share it with me, your advice will very highly appreciated.

Hi Benny,

Sorry about that. It happens but never give up. You did not state you background, how many years you have worked and in what roles. Please, do.

But I can tell you that your claim of 50 in work experience means that your present role is senior level. In which country did you apply from? All these are what will determine the success of your appeal. I was also refused but appealed because my background was highly relevant in the industries that i have been working but my review was later approved.

You need to be a little more detailed in your request.

You did not claim points in the Earnings Criteria? Why?

Also, confirm that you have not exceeded the 28 days Review Request condition as stated in your decision letter and HSMP Guidance. If you haven't, then, Provide me the details listed above, then I can advise.

Regards.
1971.

Hi sajid.razzaque,

Wait for letter from NARIC and if you satisfied write email to HSMP guys
but not send them any documents you can just fax them. Explain HSMP team that thay made wrong decision because of your degree is equivalent to UK degree. Tell them that you have NARIC letter and they should check
more careful your case.
But you now should wait for letter from NARIC.
and why you are so confident that they are wrong?

Good LUCK

Well,

You can do the following:

Send request to naric for letter. But it can take much time and you may be late. So if you confident you can apeal without letter. Try to explain them. But also simutaneously try to obtain NARIC letter. If HSMP refuse you review do not worry you have a chance for 2nd review. Then you will have NARIC letter and can be fuly confident.

Do not lose a chance. You can win.

God bless you. :)

Hi,

Thank you for reply 1971

I think 28 days not yet exceeded coz the date of refusal letter is July28, 2006 so I v got 18 days more left,

I did not claim for earning points, coz my salary is a bit less than required,

I m applying from Morocco

I applied as Development business manager 1year and Sales Management and Marketing Manager four years experience,

I need some advise, I m very confused and worried.

Regards,

Benny

Hi Benny,

You have to state the relevance of your degree to all the roles that you have obtained reference letter from employer. Explain in your Review Request that your degree is required to carry out these roles effectively and efficiently. There is a Review Request Form on www.workingintheuk.gov.uk. Please, visit this website and see the new Form. Please, let me know if any other advice is needed.
