Bank statements - Tier 1 extension

Hi All

apologies if it has already been discussed, but can someone please advise me on the below

My visa expires on the 20th of October. I am looking to apply for my extension on around 15th of August (not sure of the processing timelines, wanted to have some time gap, if for some reason my application is rejected).

Based on this, and the fact that I get my bank statements only after the 20th of every month, can I apply on 15th of August using the last statement from July? Or will I need to get Internet statements for those 2-2.5 weeks in the middle?

Appreciate your response on this.

You can use old Statement - it should not be older than a month i.e. 30 days.

Just to suggest you , I would say go for applying by aug1st only as I see it is now taking close to 3 months.
