Question about HSMP application, can somebody help me?

Post by Danke » Wed Aug 09, 2006 6:15 pm

Dear all:

I am preparing for HSMP now, have initiated a list, need the help of some friends here to take a look for me and give me some advises.

My background:
Age:<28
Eduation:Master in UK
Work Experience:4year and 3 months.
Total points to be claimed:65

My questions r as follows:

Evidence of age:

Q:Should we provide other documents besides passports, something
like the citizenship ID in the mothercuntry?

Evidence of Education:

Q:What's the meaning of NARIC?

Do I need to provide the certificate of bachelor's degree if I want to
claim the points via master's degree?

Is it necessary to provide the transcripts besides the degree certificate?

Should we also provide the copy of degree certificate besides the
original file?

Is it necessary to provide the references from the school besides the
degree certificate?

Evidence of work experience:

Q:What's the meaning of "graduate level"?Does it mean for the lelve with
bachelor's degree?

What's the meaning of 'appointment letter"?

Is it necessary to provide the payment slip of all the periods in this
section? If it is,should provide two parts, one is bank statemens for all
the salary payments, the other is the salary list from company?

Last but not least:If I can only claim 65 points, will it be less possible for
me to get the HSMP approved? Will it be better if I could
try to get higher points?

Thanks a lot for the friends to help answer these questions.

Hi Danke,

Evidence of age can be birth certificate you do not need to send your passport. But if you dont have birth certificate passport can be enough.

As I understand you have MS degree awarded in the UK. I think you dont need NARIC letter. NARIC is the organization which compare degrees obtained outside UK to the degree in the UK. You should not worry as have UK degree.

Also the transcripts should be provided for comparing you degree with UK.

You should not provide the references from the school.

And it is the same if you have 65 point or 120. Decision will be the same.
But you must prof all your points.

Good Luck.
