flr(M) Approved!!!

Finally the long wait is over, I got a call from my solicitor who gave me the good news that my FLR(M) application is Approved.

I punched the air in delight.

Here is what I submitted:


1) Letter of support from my Wife (BC) that she supports my application
2) Letter by me why I think I should be give the Leave to remain
3) Her 6 months bank statements £1000 a month
4) Uncles bank statements for 6 Months (3rd Party Support)
5) Mortgage documents to prove ownership of the house
6) Mortgage owner ship documents of my uncles housev (3rd Party Support)
7) English Marriage Certificate and Pics
7) Islamic Marriage Certificate
8.) Honeymoon pics
9) Phone bill from 2007 to 2010 showing contact while we were going out
10) Wedding cards
11) Our passports
12) My student visa Resident permit card
13) Our photos for the past 4 years spent dating


Thats about it...

How long did it took for your approval?

I applied on 24th march
Got my ack letter on 1st April
Got my bios done on 16th June
Got the passport and the card in the post today

Congrats!

To anyone else reading the list of documents submitted, this was way over the top. I see a trend happening with people sending in way more than asked for the on the guidance/application form. The ECO will not look at all of the extra things supplied. The documents are sorted through before they reach the hands of the person deciding your case and all the extras are put aside. They will write to ask for more if they need it. So I hope no one is freaking out if they don't have as many documents.

Got married here in London after waiting 5 months for the dreaded COA ... Which has now been abolished
