Bro this would be consider the fresh application(new application) and would take upto 3 months(12 weeks).May be sooner or may be later.

Thats way I said you wasted yours appeal for nothing. If you have submitted appeal and there was option ECO can review this case and issued call letter as people in this thread are getting.

You simply followed what yours solicitor said. You dont have to use solicitor for appeal for just only reason.you have to fill appeal form and send to court with some evidence.Thats it.

This is my view on this.Anyway best luck for new application and time frame is 12 weeks.

In my first refusal I have 4 objection while in second only two and these were copied from first refusal. Genius ECO

Hey congrats agraceofman :D Niceeeeeeeee!!!!!!! Your application took 26 days (including weekends), so almost 4 weeks.

Saeraj inshallah hoping urs will update today too! I HOPE it does! Come on people udpate it already!

On the plus side, I think it's Gerry's timeframe we're looking at in terms of the return status because Abu Dhabi's part is now done. So assuming Gerry's closes today at 5pm in Pak, you have 2 hours from now according to UK time. Hope it changes in those 2 hours.

i ve found gerrys call center is good for nothing.

LOL Shahzad hahahahha!

Btw are you sure you quoted the right person? Saeraj has nothing to do with this whole Masters degree, were you not meant to quote ss27??

So I see, the way how it works is that from Submission to Under process at BHC or in my case to forwarded to embassy, they are just checking and verifying. Once it is returned to AC, that is when the visa gets stamped.

If that is correct then it does raise an eyebrow as to how the home office lady informed Zaki that his visa was stamped, and it hadn't reached application returned to AC at the time.

Bleh i've given up on caring about what each status means, it's all well confusing.

Salam all,

Shadow bro your right in what you are saying. I think we should clear a few things up:

1) Passport is sent to Abu Dhabi as my wifes definitely was.

2) Passport was definitely stamped in Abu Dhabi for my wife as stamp date reads 05 July 2011 in passport that my wife picked up today. Also as status changed on wednesday 06 July 2011 to "application returned to AC" I assume my wifes passport was posted back to Pakistan on the day it was stamped or the following day.

Visa definitely issued in Abu Dhabi and then handed back to VFS people to courier back and then its Gerrys responsibility to hand back as soon as possible.

I am under the impression that it goes to islamabad and then is forwarded to relevant Gerrys office where passport was submitted which in my wifes case was Lahore.

Reason I say this is because my wife called up gerrys lahore and asked them on Thursday where her passport was as it says returned to AC on tracking website and they said it was in Islamabad and would be forwarded shortly to Lahore.

Zaki

Shadow Bro,

can i ask a favour? Do you have that list you compiled (I think anyway you had something) of questions they ask when you arrive at passport control at Heathrow?

Thanks
Zaki

agraceofman, 6 months???????????!!!!!!!!!! You serious!????????

Is that a mistake or what? I don't get it, why you get 6 months????? maybe they made an error in your application, wasn't it meant to be 27 months?

Zaki, here is the list.

Questions asked (potentially) upon arrival to the UK
The reason wife is coming to the UK
Husband's name, Date of Birth and Job Title
How long have you been married/When did you get married (date)?
Address in the UK
Is this your first time in the UK?
Is your husband waiting outside?
Husband travelling with you?
When did you first meet?
Was the marriage arranged or love?
What was your relationship before marriage?
How long do you intend to stay in the UK?
