If i can be of any help to you, if your application has been processed and a 68 number is been allocated to you, you will locate the e-mail address on top of the acknowledgement letter sure, problem solve.

Your application will not be processed, but in lacuna affidavit should suffice but the processing staff are misusing their discretionary power by requesting for Birth certificate before processing, otherwise you will be wasting your time, process your original birth certificate and move on.

I have sent the documents as requested by INIS....950euros, Form 7, etc...by registered post last week. I still haven't received any acknowledgement letter from INIS. Do INIS send out a letter or do they send the CON within six weeks as stated in the approval letter.
Folks, any advise please. Thanks

Well, i don't think the statute limitations can be breached, you just need to follow the statute time stated on the official letter sent to you, on the interim you're already an Irish/European citizen no doubt about that, but you can still call them though or contact them in due course. hope that helps a bit.

Today I took an oath at my local district court,I'd say it was not good experience as we were in the same court with some handcuffed offenders (criminals) also the court was overcrowded and many garda pesons were there
the secertary of the court called everyone with his name and we read what's in the form 7 and the judge signed it.

I'd say I did not like the way how it runs but anyway I did at last and I'm sending everything tomorrow morning then going on holidays the day after.

by the way I rang (based on Marisa advise, thanks by the way) the immigratiion and passport control in dublin airport to tell them about not having my GNIB there was a nice fella and asked me to have a copy for my card and that would be suffice

good luck to everyone
Congrats IP. Enjoy your holidays. Hope you'll have the CON when you are back.
Thanks Aceform,
wait for your call tomorrow or the day after just keep your mobile not busy.
best of luck for you and do not forget to wave when you will be filmed in the news
peace on you

Thank you.
Hey churchholigan, You know what ? Your file might be currently with Minister !! Hence they couldn't add your additional docs to your file and they can't send acknowledgment without adding your docs to your file. :)

If you call them tomorrow you will know exact (?) status.

BTW What's your timeline ?
My timeframe as following:

- Applied August 2007 as work visa holder
- Acknowledge letter September 2007
- Additional Document requested at May 2009. I was out of the country for family reason. INIS gave me a letter to inform me that to submit 3 bank statements and payslips once when I returned to Ireland.
- I returned to Ireland in May and informed INIS. They asked me to submit 3 bank statements and payslips (current)
- I started to work in May 2011 in a new job and just submitted 3 bank statements and payslip in first week of July 2011 but I have not recevied any acknowledge letter from INIS.

I cannot really phone them because I will be at work between the openning hours for INIS phoneline. I think I might send them another letter to ask if they have send me any acknowledge letter or not. I am worry that they might ask me to reapply because I was out of the country for sometime.

You could check your delivery status with AnPost using your tracking number stated on the registered post receipt. On their site you can also request a confirmation be sent to your email address. I posted mine off last Friday via registered post and got an acknowledgement today in the post back from INIS.

As per the INIS letter - for us without yellow forms -, they will send you out an invite to attend the ceremony within 6 weeks where you'll receive your CoN. Not sure in ur case :)

HTH :)

The INIS themselves knew that, Irish Naturalization Must not or never be discriminated on, in the article of the constitution saved in exceptional circumstance, by virtue of race, colour, dissabilities, and indeed countries, when they send ours, i will announce in the news of the world then. :D

I got approval very recently and going for oath on 28th of july. My GNIB card is valid until 2014. My multiple entry visa expired in April this year. Do the dept ask for copy of my visa or I just need to send my Garda card along with oath form and fee. I have no plans to travel outside of country.

Also, does the passport office enquire about the expired multiple entry visa.

Thanks in advance

What does your re-entry visa got to do with the case scenarios now, because everybody knew that, you dont have re-entry visa you dont enter back into the state period, sto acting the maggot.

Posted my 950 euro last week.
Got a miss call on Wednesday with no caller ID, no message was left. Thought it might be the Dep.OJ trying to call me to confirm ceremony date etc. Was hoping to get a call then, but nothing yet! :(

Normally I wouldn't worry about it, but Im actually moving house in a week time, and Im just thinking if I should give them a call? Or should I write them a letter to inform them that I'm moving soon ? any advice?

Just ring them and update your address. Alternatively just come and check your posts once a week from your old house.
Think next CC is on 28th July.

You have to write them officially to inform them of your new address, calling them is not the proper procedure inter-alia.

Hi ks18217 and still waiting congts on your invitation. Will you please tell us your counties, I mean are you from different counties or same? I am from Co. Mayo there are some people who got their approvals last week and have to send fee and photographs etc first and then they would be invited, is INIS inviting all people at the same time or they would arrange the ceremonies in each county. Thank you for your reply

Congratulations :D :D
So you are going to get your Cert in less than one month of approval
Seems to be more lucky than my husband who took his oath today and sent all the documents today(approval 14th June). Are you from Dublin or did they invite you from somewhere else.
