Appeal allowed but i still have to report

I was arrested in a sting operation;Detained for one month and judge granted me bail requiring me to sign in every week.

Last month my non asylum appeal was allowed on article 8 and immigration rules.I was appealing against removal from the UK.UKBA have not asked for permission to appeal to the 2nd tier tribunal.

Next month i am going to court to renew my bail.How do i convince the judge to amend my bail conditions?

The reporting center told me i have to sign in every week till i get my ILR.

How long will it take for UKBA give me status?Do i have to chase them up or just wait for them to process my status.They are holding my passport.

Ask your solicitor to chase the UK BA on that.

The worst I have come across was 9 months.

Is it usual practice for people to continue signing on even when the appeal is allowed?

I believe if an appeal is allowed in full and the UKBA does not appeal it within the time limit, then the decision stands. It is arguable that continuation of reporting restriction could be considered unlawful in these circumstances, as a decision has been made, the only issue is its implementatiom.
