Just wanted to share this . I applied Flr (M) last month and its granted .

From Tier 4 to Flr (M)

Date Applied by Post :- 15-June-2011
Acknowledgement received :- few days later dated 17-June-2011
Biometric Appointment letter received :- 24-June-2011 dated 21-June-2011
Biometric Done in PEO :- 29-June-2011
Biometric Residence Card received :- 15-July-2011 dated from 13-July-2011
Passport and other documents received :- 16-July-2011.

Exactly a Month Got my Visa , Pretty Quick.

WOW, that is much faster than I expected...now maybe I should do postal rather than premium! My current visa expires at the end of September, I wonder if that is enough time!

As long as you apply before your visa expires, you will not be breaking any rules or over staying, even if they don't come to a decision until after your expiration date of the previous visa.
